1. Organize Before You Research

I thought I was organized when I got started.  But, really, you can't call manilla folders organization.  So I made a 3 ring binder that had plastic sheet protectors, links of interest to me, what information I was lookin for, and any pictures, documents, phone numbers or address I might use.  I also included forms that I might need to use.  So if I went to a cemetery to do research I had all the information I might need.
